Mission
To foster the gaming professionals of tomorrow by allowing select students an opportunity to see the inner workings of a game company, pairing them up with an industry luminary for mentorship and giving them access to industry events such as the upcoming ChinaJoy and China GDC.
Finally, scholars will have VIP access to the biggest networking event hosted by IGDA Shanghai.
Key dates
- May 12 – Program announcement
- July 28 – 1st day of ChinaJoy
- July 29 – IGDA Networking Event
- Host a 2 hour talk on company premise on the 27th
- Host lunch on the 27th
- Host dinner on the 27th

Mentorship program
- Pair each scholar with an industry veteran
- Select pairing based on mentor’s industry experience and scholar’s area of growth

IGDA学者活动目标
为了鼓励对游戏有兴趣的学生，IGDA会提供被选上的学生一个深入了解游戏业界的机会。 除了能够亲身拜访游戏公司以外，IGDA会安排每一位学者一位业界的指导者进行一对一的沟通和引导，一起参加ChinaJoy和中国游戏开发者大会(CGDC)了解游戏界的动向和未来。
最后，学者还可加入IGDA在ChinaJoy举办的最大的晚间活动，并拥有 VIP 身份，跟业界的资深业者交流。
